• Support asset managers in making justifi able and objective decisions concerning maintenance, refurbishment and re-investments based upon condition, performance and failure behaviour of components.

• Benchmark asset performance and make it provable.

• Make accessible 20 years of research history from one of the world’s most renowned high-voltage laboratories.

• Combine, increase, offer and scientifically anchor practice knowledge concerning the behaviour of systems in transmission and distribution infrastructures for gas, water and electricity.

• Create an international network for executing benchmark studies, generating and exchanging applied knowledge.

• Stimulate interest amongst students, businesses and governments in training/courses in the special areas involved.
